Campbell Steele is a Chicago-based photographer and designer whose work explores themes of presence, duplication, and memory through shadows, reflections, and layered imagery. Steele is currently working towards a BFA in Art, Media, and Design at DePaul University with a concentration in graphic art and photography, as well as a minor in graphic design and business.
Her creative practice spans food photography, event and portrait work, and fine art projects that combine conceptual exploration with technical skill. Steele’s work has been presented in exhibitions at DePaul University, and she has further developed her practice through an internship with the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, where she documented local restaurants and cultural events.
Through both her commercial and artistic work, Steele continues to experiment with photography as a medium for storytelling and connection, encouraging a unique outlook on our surroundings.
